About the role
The Unit Secretary is responsible for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. She/he acts as a support person to the nursing staff and other members of the health care team for indirect aspects of patient care. This position functions as a pivotal communication link between the health care team, other departments and patients and families. Monday- Friday.
Schedule
Hours: M-Th 6:00-13:45 and on Friday 6:00-13:30
Education
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Previous employment in an office or health care environment.
