Unit Program Coordinator
This position is open exclusively to current Department of War (DoW) federal employees. Applicants must submit their most recent SF50 to verify eligibility.
About the Role
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions. Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs. Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices. Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a security clearance
- May be required to travel to perform temporary duty
Requirements
- Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization
- Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs
- Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolution, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems
- Ability to gather, analyze, and present facts, communicate effectively using tact and courtesy, and plan, organize work, and meet deadlines
- Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must be of legal working age
Pay
2026 Salary Range: $40,736 - $65,599 yearly (with locality)
Schedule
Full-time position. Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) selected, a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period is required. Employment may be terminated unless certification of continued employment advancing the public interest is received in writing.
