About the role
Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, leading daily nursing operations to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring effective workflow and quality care.
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance, manage employee relations, and resolve complaints.
- Plan staffing schedules, assign duties, and adjust staffing as needed for resident safety and staff availability.
- Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in long-term care or post-acute settings.
- At least 1 year in supervisory or management roles preferred.
- Current, unencumbered RN license and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and regulations.
