About the role
Join as a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager, providing leadership for daily nursing operations and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and manage workflow, staffing, and scheduling.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and evaluate staff performance.
- Address employee concerns, resolve issues, and discipline staff when necessary.
- Plan and assign work considering resident safety and staff capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in long-term or post-acute care.
- Minimum 1 year in supervisory or management roles preferred.
- Current RN license in the state and CPR certification.
