About the role
The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center's 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent, quality care for all residents. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care as necessary, utilizing the latest technology and working as part of a strong interdisciplinary team. This position is part of the leadership team at Wellbridge of Pinckney, an EPIC Award Winning team and Bronze quality award winner.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- 5 days per week, including rotating weekends and some holidays
- Rotating on-call schedule with several other leaders
Responsibilities
- Supervise the nursing team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations
- Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care
- Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues
- Ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- At least 2 years of Long Term Care or Supervisory experience
- Current Nursing State of Michigan RN Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR certification (CPR-BLS Certification required)
- High level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
- Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done
Pay
$85,000 - $90,000 per year base salary with yearly wage increases.
