Unit Manager RN/LPN

Summary/Objective

Courtland Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager- LPN/RN to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of residents.

Essential Functions

• Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
• Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect, and promotes a caring environment.
• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Attends and participates in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from and accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as a RN or LPN.
• C.P.R. Certified.
• One year experience as a nurse in a long-term care setting.
