About the role

The Unit Manager (RN) position is with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services at the Puller Veterans Care Center. The role involves overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with skilled and long‑term care regulations, facilitating multidisciplinary teamwork, and providing guidance, resources, and training to nurses and CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and working knowledge of skilled and long‑term care and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Manage nurses and CNAs, providing guidance, resources, and training as needed

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse License in the state of Virginia
• American Heart BLS Provider CPR card upon hire

Pay

Hiring range: $85,000 - $95,000; Pay Band: 5
