About the role

The Unit Manager (RN) role at Hickory Creek at Crawfordsville offers a full-time, day shift position with hours from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. This opportunity is designed for nurses with charge nurse or supervisory experience who are interested in transitioning into a structured leadership position focused on team development, clinical quality, and resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of all residents on the assigned long-term care unit.
  • Provide daily leadership and guidance to licensed nurses and nursing personnel.
  • Oversee the delivery of care and manage the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing standards, and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Indiana RN or LPN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Skills Needed

  • Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
  • Leadership: Management experience or willingness and desire to learn proper approaches to managing staff.
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of the residents, resident families and staff.
  • Collaboration: Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
