Unit Manager LPN

About the Role

The Unit Manager will direct the daily functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities, and as directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure high-quality care for residents through effective supervision and guidance of the clinical team.
• Develop and mentor the clinical skills of the nursing staff.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices, procedures, and laws governing long-term care.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare-related setting.
• Supervisory experience.
