Unit Manager, LPN

About the role

As a Unit Manager (LPN), you will oversee clinical operations for your assigned unit, ensuring residents receive high-quality, consistent care. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care, and serve as a key resource for residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff (CNAs & LPNs) on assigned unit
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
• Coordinate care planning, admissions, and discharges
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and care team
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility regulations
• Serve as a leader and mentor, promoting teamwork and accountability
• Assist with coverage for call-outs as needed

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in South Carolina (required)
• Prior nursing experience required (not open to new graduates)
• Current CPR certification required
• Must maintain all required continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Schedule
