Unit Manager - DAYS with Security Clearance

About the Role

As a Unit Manager at the National Visa Center, you will supervise, coach and develop your team. You'll conduct interviews and make hiring decisions. You may be required to give briefings to visitors and participate in conference calls. Of critical importance is that you provide timely deliverables and performance-related data to the U.S. State Department. Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coach and develop Supervisors, Workload Coordinators and other management staff as assigned
• Hire and manage a technically proficient and professionally capable staff throughout the life of the contract
• Provide timely deliverables and performance related data to the customer in order to allow adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement of support services
• Suggest process improvements to improve service delivery and performance
• Promote innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Resolve problems with minimal disruption to
