Unit Maintenance Instructor
About the role
JANUS Research Group is seeking a Unit Maintenance Instructor at the Army National Guard Professional Education Center located in North Little Rock, AR for a short term assignment.
Responsibilities
- Train ARNG officers, warrant officers, noncommissioned officers, and civilian personnel in the skills required to sustain the equipment readiness and deployability of the Army National Guard through day-to-day management of surface maintenance shop operations.
- Utilize the Global Combat Support SystemArmy (GCSS-A) to safely and efficiently manage shop operations.
- Develop professionally by sharing best practices with peers and instructors.
- Manage and maintain proper accountability of assigned and organizational property.
- Submit and manage requisitions to ensure the organization is properly and fully equipped.
Requirements
- Must have instructor certification.
- Five years experience as a Unit Maintenance NCO.
- Strong communication skills (oral and writing).
- US Citizenship.
- Secret Clearance.
Nice to Have
- Five years' of GCSS-Army experience.
- Knowledge and experience in ARNG Surface Maintenance arena.

Pay
Target salary range: $60k - $62k.
Schedule
The ARNG FMS TAMMS and Readiness Course is a two-week resident course.
Qualifications
Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that they meet the minimum requirements of the position.
