Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration in a flat network of autonomous entrepreneurial teams called squads.
  • Support Unit and Squad’s focus on mission to deliver beneficial outcomes for all team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Add value by supporting the Unit/Squad development and delivering the best product and customer experience.
  • Drive a culture of innovation by encouraging teams to generate, evaluate, and rapidly implement creative ideas.
  • Enable squads to run daily production activities, execute daily production schedule, and deliver the best product and customer experience.
  • Serve as an escalation point for tasks and projects prioritization, problem solving, continuous improvement, conflict resolution, displaying VACC behaviors, and prioritizing the squad's self-organization.
  • Optimize squad members’ performance, development, and empowerment through DSO principles.
  • Promote onePSS activities by collaborating with partners/experts outside of the Unit.
  • Collaborate with internal and external networks to ensure the unit receives the support/resources needed to be successful.
  • Promote fluid talent and resource utilization within the Unit, being outcome-oriented.
  • Ensure Unit compliance while empowering the squads as much as possible.
  • Model VACC behaviors: facilitating the co-creation of a shared vision (V), designing and evolving the way we work (A), acting as an active multiplier of change (C), and helping employees develop capabilities and mindsets to thrive.
  • Oversee plant operations, including QHSE requirements and personnel management.
  • Plan, staff, organize, and supervise personnel.
  • Manage personnel administrative tasks and disciplinary measures.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of facilities and attainment of production goals set by plant management.
  • Facilitate training on production processes and optimizations.
  • Provide orientation for new hires.
  • Resolve production disturbances.
  • Communicate and share information within the unit and with key interfaces regarding production goals and facility changes.
  • Document current production processes versus standard production requirements.
  • Maintain housekeeping of the workplace.
  • Monitor site P&L and provide assistance to teams to ensure balance and alignment.
  • Drive a company vehicle (pooled or assigned), which may include driving over 5,000 business miles annually or frequently driving a pooled car as part of job duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing operations, technical support, or safety.
  • Skilled at leading, managing conflict, and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or agriculture industry.
  • Basic user knowledge of standard computer programs (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, tablets/smart devices).
  • Valid driver's license (driving record must meet company risk screening guidelines for hiring drivers; MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons or when business needs require it.
  • Willingness and ability to work multiple shifts (Days or Nights).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in agriculture, engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Management, or similar degree with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of applicable experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Ability to empower and hold others accountable.

Pay

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $100,480.00 and $150,720.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
