Unit Clerk / Rehabilitation Unit
About the Role
Join our team as a weekend shift, full-time Rehabilitation Unit Clerk in Tulsa, OK. This role is accountable for greeting and directing patients, visitors, and physicians upon their arrival to the department. You will demonstrate strong telephone skills, assist others courteously, process forms, schedule procedures, input and manage data on the CRT, and coordinate the desk area of the patient care unit.
Additional responsibilities include performing off-unit activities, attending staff meetings, checking routine supplies and equipment, and coordinating repair and maintenance of equipment. You will also handle order entry for all physician’s orders, general office duties, phone coordination, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities

- Input and manage data on the CRT (Cathode Ray Tube terminal)
- Coordinate the desk area of the patient care unit
- Perform off-unit activities and attend staff meetings
- Check routine supplies and equipment
- Coordinate repair and maintenance of equipment
- Handle order entry for all physician’s orders on patients
- Manage general office duties for the unit
- Coordinate phone communications
- Provide outstanding customer service
