Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Prepare all departmental paperwork.
• Answer the department’s telephone.
• Schedule patients as needed.
• Enter and retrieve patient information from the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Assist the nursing staff as indicated.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
