Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments with doctors and other facilities for needed resident treatment.
- Work with Activities Department or Family Members to arrange transportation to the scheduled appointments.
- Assist with transporting residents, when needed.
- Organize nursing station, make copies as needed, and thin charts.
- Keep supplies current and ready for use, including preparing Admission Packets for the nurses.
- Prepare forms for charts.
- Assist other staff with resident care and food delivery, as needed.
- Answer the phone and take messages.
- Answer call lights.
- Attend in-services as required.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a current and active Nursing Certification.
- Able to work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant to meet the needs of residents.
- Flexible in work habits to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff.
- Able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, and visitors.
- Able to read and understand standard English.
- Willing to work as part of a caring team to provide the best possible care for our residents.

We are currently looking for a Unit Clerk/CNA for a full-time day shift 6am to 3pm position. You will work closely with Licensed Nurses and other team members to meet the needs of our residents and to ensure high quality care is maintained.
