Unit Clerk Behavioral Health

Part-time, 12-hour day shift position on the Behavioral Health Unit at Trinity Health Livonia Campus.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties to assist professional nursing staff with routine patient care tasks in a designated area
• Utilizes Powerchart for order entry and serves as a resource for employees using the system
• Answers telephones, relays messages, and makes calls as necessary
• Assembles charts for admission, transfer, and discharges; posts charges
• Schedules appointments for special procedures and outpatient visits
• Demonstrates ability to utilize order entry, order modification, discharge, and cancel orders as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Part-time, every other weekend and 3 holidays per year required
