Unit Care Coordinator (Registered Nurse)

About the role

The RN Unit Care Coordinator supervises and manages patient care, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing and CNA activities to provide quality patient care
• Coordinate care plans and services to promote patients' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
• Document accurately and timely
• Administer medications as ordered and respond to emergencies
• Maintain professional relationships, confidentiality, and compliance with policies
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and patient rights
• Provide excellent customer service and positive patient interactions
• Support staff, including evacuation procedures when necessary
• Participate in interdisciplinary team communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Preferred geriatric nursing experience and CPR certification
