Position Description

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is currently accepting applications for temporary Unit 18 Lecturers (Non-Senate Faculty) to teach courses in the Pre-Licensure Program. These lecturer appointments will initially be made on a quarterly basis as needs arise to cover specific topics in the School of Nursing, with potential for continuing employment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Dynamic and collaborative leaders who have shown an established track record for developing high quality university-level curriculum designed for in the classroom, online or hybrid.
  • Candidates are required to have previous experience teaching these courses and/or similar courses in the University of California system and/or an equivalent higher education setting.
  • The minimum requirements are an unencumbered CA RN license, MSN with clinical experience appropriate to Pre-Licensure Nursing courses and teaching experience at the college level.

This recruitment is for potential openings in the future (i.e., an open pool) and does not guarantee availability. Positions will remain open until filled.
