Summary
CHS Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Union Production Worker to join their Lubricants Plant team in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Responsibilities
- Work extensively in a manufacturing environment packaging lubricant products in various container sizes.
- Periodically work in a warehouse environment picking orders and/or receiving inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Enter order and production data into computer systems.
- Complete required paperwork, production records, and reports.
- Follow established product, packaging, labeling, and customer specifications.
- Perform changeovers and end-of-run cleaning activities as directed by the Process Lead and Shift Manager.
- Learn and comply with all quality, environmental, safety, and operating procedures and policies.
- Record production information, equipment performance, and downtime as required.
- Perform general labor duties throughout the facility, including material handling, housekeeping, machine operation, and painting.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Production and/or Operations
- Experience in operations, manufacturing, or similar
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Qualifications

- Physical Requirements: Comfortable in damp, dusty, dry conditions; Ability to stand for long periods; Ability to perform physically driven tasks.
Pay
Salary Range: $22.25/hr
This is a union role. Wages are based on the collective bargaining agreement
