Union Non-CDL Driver

About the Role

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company and a leading supplier since 1953, is seeking a Union Non CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. We serve various industries, including Commercial/Mechanical, HVAC, Waterworks, and more, with a focus on building better infrastructure, homes, and businesses. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule (5:30 am - 2:00 pm) with no nights or weekends, allowing you to be home daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading, unloading, and ensuring delivery tickets accompany materials.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing, and shipping orders, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License and adherence to all DOT standards and regulations.
• Current, or ability to acquire and maintain, a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Pay

$27.00/hr. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.
