About the role
Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems for the assigned property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform rounds, conduct routine assessments, perform day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems
- Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action
- Perform repairs to plumbing fixtures (water closets, urinals, flush valve assemblies, lavatories, etc.)
- Complete work in accordance with C&W Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions
- Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits
- Complete all required safety training as scheduled weekly/monthly/annually
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate’s degree or vocational/technical school diploma preferred
- Appropriate license/permit for trade may be required, i.e. such as Refrigeration Industry Certifications, Journeyman or Master Electrician License, Low/High Pressure Boiler License, etc.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative / safety conscious environment
- Flexibility to provide critical services as needed
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work requests and projects
- Sense of urgency & personal initiative to succeed
- Physical requirements: Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
