Primary Responsibilities: Service, program, test, and inspect fire alarm systemsEnsure equipment is functional and operationalDiagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repairReplace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc. Provide technical support to Customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receiversInteract professionally with customersCoordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficientlyInform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate actionPerform fire alarm inspectionsMaintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDSiemens Certification required2+ years of direct fire alarm industry work experience across multiple fire alarm system manufacturersValid Driver Licenses requiredFDNY S78 Certificate of FitnessFDNY S98 Certificate of FitnessNYC SST Card The hourly pay for this role is: $17 an hour.
