Union Energy Storage Electrical Apprentice - EdSan 2B
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain energy equipment.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various hand tools.
- Safely use hand and power tools after proper training (drills, crimpers, cutters, etc.).
- Lift, position, and fasten objects.
- Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools for electrical trades.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment.
- Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and procedures.
- Pull DC and MV wire and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Some construction and/or electrical experience.
- Current driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents (safety regulations, blueprints, etc.)
- Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.
- Knowledge of electrical systems.
- Ability to handle materials weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Frequent repetitive hand, arm, leg movement.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Benefits
Base pay range for this role is $26.39–$52.79 per hour.
The base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
