Union Driver - Non CDL

About the role

As a Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pick up various equipment and supplies to customer worksites. This role operates a vehicle with a gross weight of less than 26,000 pounds in various driving conditions, including construction zones, urban, suburban, and rural traffic.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicle safely in a variety of driving situations and conditions
• Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies to/from customer worksites
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork
• Work in a safety-driven culture with an incredible team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers
• Knowledge of tools and equipment based on the assigned store's fleet
• Bilingual speakers may be required at some locations

Physical Demands

• Bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
• Lifting 50 pounds or more
• Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job

Qualifications

Related experience may include: Roll-Back Driver, Flatbed Driver, Delivery Driver, Route Driver, Box Truck Driver, Stakebody Driver, or Appliance Delivery.

Pay

$20.76 - $22.76 per hour, depending on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
