About the role

Loblaw store #1090 Port Credit, located at 250 Lakeshore Rd W. Mississauga, ON is seeking a Customer Support representative reporting to the Asset Protection team. Our Customer Experience Ambassadors are the friendly faces who greet customers as they enter, offer assistance, and contribute to a positive and safe shopping environment. You'll collaborate closely with other store colleagues to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for all customers and colleagues
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide guidance, including supporting a seamless customer flow at store entrances and exits
• Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards (e.g., spills, wet floors) to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for everyone
• Respond calmly and effectively to any urgent situations, escalating as needed to ensure customer and colleague well-being
• Maintain accurate records and complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with store teams and customers
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a natural talent for making connections and building rapport
• A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour that puts customers at ease
• Proven ability to maintain composure and provide assistance during challenging or urgent situations
• Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods
