Uniform Attendant / Seamster

Responsibilities

• Issue uniforms to associates.
• Inspect all clean uniforms.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of uniforms.
• Absorb guest items according to Select Guest standards.
• Complete any minor uniform repair.
• Enter inventory data into the computer system.
• Count and track outgoing/incoming dry cleaning.
• Work with dry cleaning company on any item discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective team player, able to provide a welcoming, helpful environment in the uniform room.
• Able to effectively communicate with internal customers.
• Able to utilize a computer, conveyor belt, ironer and presser.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
