Unified Communications Engineer (Active TS/SCI)

About the role

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Satellite Beach, FL, with potential work locations in Washington DC, Satellite Beach, FL, or Seal Beach, CA. The Cisco Call Manager Engineer designs, develops, and implements network and telecommunications infrastructure, monitors networks and connections, and plays an active role in installing Cisco network operating system software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the physical design and architecture of computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and VoIP.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize IP telephony, voice, video, and mobility solutions.
• Assist and lead the design and implementation of Cisco Unified Communication products, including software upgrades on existing Cisco voice deployments.
• Provide technical assistance to Network Analysts and Network Professionals, identifying and resolving issues related to Cisco software, IP phones, and voicemail.
• Coordinate with various IT staff, business partners, internal clients, and vendors to ensure smooth network operations.
• Identify, plan, and execute session management strategies to increase efficiency.
• Remote monitoring and management of enterprise IPT environments.
• Provide end-user support in Cisco VoIP/UCCE environments, resolving customer issues and handling internal escalations independently.
• Create, analyze, and troubleshoot call flows and call detail records.
• Design and deploy solutions for multi-site environments using Cisco technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in monitoring and administering Cisco Telecommunication systems.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Ability to work fully onsite at Washington DC, Satellite Beach, FL, or Seal Beach, CA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick resolution of customer issues.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $190,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year.
