Underwriting Technician Trainee
About the role
Currently seeking a detail-oriented individual for our Underwriting Technician Trainee opportunity, which is a developmental position.
Responsibilities
- Process all lines of commercial property and casualty business within an assigned territory.
- Learn to quote, issue new and renewal policies, amend existing policies, cancellations, endorsements and evaluate policy files.
- Provide technical assistance to underwriters and assist agents in writing business.
Requirements

- Detail-oriented and able to learn quickly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $16.91 - $26.04 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Schedule
This position will be located in either our corporate office in Sarasota, FL or our office in Lake Mary, FL.
