Underwriting Technician - Natural Resources & Construction

About the role

We are looking for an Underwriting Technician – Natural Resources & Construction, based in O’Fallon, MO or Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Provide back office support to a team of Natural Resources & Construction Underwriters.
• Provide effective and efficient service to brokers, clients, underwriting, claims and credit control/accounting.
• Support timely and accurate delivery of Quotes, Policy documentation, Endorsements, etc.
• Proactively communicate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively and collaboratively manage and prioritize workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met.
• Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Property & Casualty and/or Specialty Insurance;
• Experience in policy administration or other core insurance services, with an advanced understanding of the policy administration life cycle (e.g., information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation);
• Account management experience;
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment;
• Ability to build and foster relationships across the organization and with our brokers/clients;
• Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications;
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• Strong time management and prioritization skills;
• and Effective team player

Qualifications

The annualized base pay range for this role is $67,000 to $80,000. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate.
