Essential Functions
- Enter new and renewal treaty submissions into applicable systems.
- Aid in submission clearance and recording of management information in the department’s information systems.
- Process endorsements and new/renewal treaty reinsurance programs.
- Manage broker of record changes.
- Update Ceding Company and Broker information in the Phoenix system (when necessary).
- Handle final premium adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to analyze and resolve discrepancies and open cash application.
- Extract management reports from Phoenix and assist in preparing data for analysis and management reporting.
- Create various Excel spreadsheets utilized in Treaty management.
- Act as key contacts for internal and external audit inquiries.
- Support underwriters as needed.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment in responding to concerns and requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Professional demeanor.
- Comprehend underwriting requirements, rating, and pricing, and process request for program changes.
- Takes initiative, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and various internal systems.
- Experience with Phoenix is a plus.
- Inform Manager of activities and situations impacting the achievement of corporate and departmental goals and objectives.
- Seasonal overtime may be required.
Education & Experience
- College degree, certificate, or relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
