About the role
This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategy and administration of complex products and programs at an enterprise level
- Develop and implement line of business strategies and plans for successful execution
- Oversee profit and loss management, developing business plans for the assigned line of business
- Analyze underwriting and loss results, identifying trends and recommending actions for profitability
- Create and communicate best practices and underwriting guidance across the enterprise
- Initiate and manage preparation of workshops and training for underwriting teams
- Act as a strategic partner to branch offices, providing expert technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an insurance or business-related field or equivalent experience
- Ten years of experience in commercial property and casualty underwriting
- At least five years of commercial staff underwriting experience within the relevant line of business
- Insurance certifications such as CPCU, AU, or CIC
- Previous experience in people leadership

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $130,955 – $206,984 annually
