Underwriting Data Support Specialist

About the role

Western National is seeking a Support Specialist to join our team! The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to underwriters and agencies by rating and entering transactions into established systems while supporting our Underwriting Team. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon quality underwriting support skills and be a team member with The Relationship Company®.

Responsibilities

• Enters new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
• Updates routine reports and understands information.
• Manually rates all lines of coverage, including non-automated and infrequent coverages as needed.
• Documents indexing and incoming / outgoing mailroom duties.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Sets up and maintains databases.
• Contacts other internal departments and team members.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.

• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.

Pay

The salary for this position will be $20.00/hour.
