Responsibilities
- Monitors the financial exception report on a regular basis to track financial statements.
- Based on findings, creates and provides reports to the CPM Team Leader and Manager of the Business Line.
- Ensures that the tickler dates are updated and correct on exception reports as financials are received.
- Escalates situations to the CPM and Loan Officer when the required financial statements are not received within 45 days of the initial letter or contact.
- Sends financial statements for imaging and provides them to the CPM and Loan Officer for review.
- Contacts borrower’s, bookkeepers, and CPAs via phone, email, and mail requesting financial documentation required per the loan agreement.
- Maintains Portfolio Management reports such as Delinquent Real Estate Taxes, Liquid Collateral, Past Due Loans, etc., and collaborates with Loan Officers on past due loans and resolves exceptions.
- Provides superior customer service by resolving issues and offering accurate and timely information to CPMs and Loan Officers.
Required Skills
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and performing internet searches.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to compute ratios.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend policies, procedures, and training materials.
Required Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of banking experience.
- Completion of college level courses in accounting or finance and/or an Associate's degree with at least two years of banking, credit, or lending experience preferred.
