Underwriting Analyst

Job Responsibilities
- Assist underwriters with new business and renewal submissions
- Review submissions for completeness and request outstanding information as needed
- Prepare and organize underwriting files and supporting documentation
- Enter and maintain accurate data within underwriting and policy administration systems
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Cook up and maintain positive relationships with brokers and business partners
- Track submissions, renewals, and outstanding requirements to ensure timely processing

- Coordinate the collection of applications, claims experience, plan documents, and other required underwriting information
- Support audits, carrier reporting, and compliance requirements
- Monitor underwriting inboxes and assist with workflow management
- Assist with special projects and operational initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 1 year of health insurance experience
- Strong knowledge of self-funded health plan structures is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay
The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
