Underwriter

Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter (VP level) responsible for underwriting complex commercial lending transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and asset-based lending. Key duties Analyze borrower cash flow, financial statements, and collateral to assess credit risk.Structure credit terms and develop well-supported credit recommendations.Prepare clear, decision-ready materials for the loan committee.Partner with relationship managers on deal structuring.Monitor ongoing credit quality and borrowing bases.Support and coach junior credit staff.Maintain strong internal and external communication. Qualifications / Skills Advanced credit underwriting expertise for multiple commercial asset classes.Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities.Ability to structure loans and communicate recommendations clearly.Demonstrated collaboration with relationship teams and leadership of junior staff.
