Underwriter

Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter (VP) Underwrites complex commercial lending transactions, including real estate, C&I, leveraged finance, and asset-based facilities. Performs in-depth cash flow and collateral analysis to develop underwriting conclusions, structure recommendations, and produce clear, comprehensive credit write-ups. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate ongoing borrower financials and, where applicable, borrowing base informationSupport relationship managers on deals and during client meetingsParticipate in loan committee discussions and present credit rationaleHelp coach and develop junior credit underwriting staff Qualifications & Skills Expert underwriting skills for complex commercial loan structuresStrong analytical ability in cash flow assessment and collateral valuationClear communication and ability to document credit decisions effectivelyExperience reviewing credit risk information and informing decision-makingProven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and mentor others
