Underground Pipe Leadman

About the role

We are seeking a Leadman for underground pipe to lead field crews in the installation of wet utility systems, including water, sewer, and storm drain in the Phoenix metro area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on worker with pipe and trenching knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipe laying activities daily
• Read blueprints and staking
• Ensure work is completed safely and effectively
• Coordinate with Foreman, Superintendent and Inspectors
• Operate equipment as needed and assist crew when required

Requirements

• Experience in underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drain)
• Valid driver's license

Skills

• Experience with trenching
• Experience with shoring
• Experience with pipe installation
• Equipment operation (backhoes, excavators, loaders, etc.)
