Underground Foreman

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.
• Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair, and maintain projects.
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
• Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment.
• Operate backhoes, dozers, cable plows, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery.
• Manage all aspects of job-site construction.
• Perform tasks related to telecom construction: Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.

Requirements

• Safety is a part of your day-to-day work.
• Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot hard problems with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in telecom construction: Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT med card for driving purposes (CDL preferred).
• Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record.
• MOS Codes 12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305 are relevant to this position.

Pay

$22–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
