Underground/Electrical Construction Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as excavating holes for light pole footings, trench paths for underground conduit, backfilling and compaction of or trenches.
• Installation of underground electrical conduit and wire systems.
• Installation of light poles, pathway and ground fixtures.
• Meter pedestal, circuit breaker and lighting control installations.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
• Follow project plans and supervisor instructions.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Valid driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Knowledge of construction site operations.
• Familiarity with operating skid steers, mini excavators, and/or trenchers is a plus.
