Discover a more connected career at TelCom Construction. As a Field Supervisor, you'll supervise the day-to-day operations of the project, communicate and lead the Foreman and crews.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations
  • Job completion of assigned projects
  • Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members
  • Organize materials, equipment, and labor
  • Verify locates, materials, and billings
  • Complete as-builts and redlines
  • Participate actively in and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel-related initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • To have authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • To have previous utility construction crew leadership experience (required)
  • To have experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts (preferred)
  • To have good computer skills, specifically database software and Excel
  • To have prior experience working with Google applications (plus)
  • To have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • To have local work with occasional travel
  • To have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • To pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
  • To have a Class A CDL license (plus)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Frequent sit, stand, and/or walk
  • Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, crawl, or twist on concrete, dirt, or gravel surfaces
  • Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to perform computer work), hearing, and voice
  • Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks
  • Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
  • Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions and uneven surfaces
  • Wear required personal protective equipment if required
