Undergraduate Nursing Mental Health Clinical Adjunct Faculty

About the role

The Clarkson College Undergraduate Nursing Program seeks a Mental Health Clinical adjunct faculty member to teach undergraduate nursing courses. This position requires one 12-hour clinical day a week.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses focusing on mental health.
• Provide high-quality education to Clarkson College students through the application of teaching methods.
• Ensure that all educational materials are up-to-date and relevant to current practices in mental health nursing.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest research and trends in mental health nursing.
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical learning experiences for students.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements

• Unencumbered nursing license to practice in Nebraska.
• A minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing preferred or making annual progress toward a graduate (Master's) degree.
• The degree must be completed within six years of the hire date.
• At least two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health nursing.

Pay
