About the role
At Einstein Bros. Bagels we believe in the bagel and we’ve been baking bagels fresh daily since 1995. Our stores close at 2 pm so you’ll never miss that dance recital or once-in-a-lifetime concert.
Responsibilities
- Open the store as early as 4 am, complete the first bake, and ensure the store is audit-ready
- Execute catering, mobile, and in-store orders while delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Float through all positions during breakfast and lunch rushes, cover breaks, and drive strong customer survey results
- Close the store and prep for the next day (typically 30–45 minutes)
- Complete daily deposits and finish well before dinner time
- Handle scheduling, ordering, inventory, and P&L analysis
- Recruit quality team members and develop internal talent
Requirements
- 1–3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
- Hands-on operational ability with a “treat it like you own it” philosophy
- Track record of achieving food cost goals and labor targets
- Must be at least 18 years old
Training
We prepare you to manage all aspects of the store with 5 weeks of training.

Pay
Competitive pay: $60,000–$65,000 per year.
Schedule
No nights or evenings—operating hours 6 am–2 pm.
Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. Reasonable accommodations may be requested.
