Unassigned General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of our Bruegger’s Bagels store. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, starting as early as 4 am to do the first bake and open the store. GMs are responsible for ensuring the store is audit-ready, managing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and maintaining exceptional customer experiences. Closing at 2 pm allows for flexibility in personal schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the store, including operations, staffing, and customer service
• Manage breakfast and lunch rushes, ensuring efficient execution of orders and exceptional customer service
• Float between positions to assist with tasks and maintain a positive team environment
• Generate good customer survey results and ensure the store is prepared for audits
• Close the store efficiently, prepare for the next day, and handle administrative tasks
• Recruit and develop team members, focusing on food cost goals and labor targets

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• 1-3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
• Experience with P&L analysis and strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets
• Ability to motivate and inspire the team to perform at their best

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$15.78 - $27.62 per hour
