About the role

We're looking for dependable and professional Unarmed Security Professionals to join our team in Marshall, MO. If you're reliable, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment, this part-time position is for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
• Greet guests and employees, assist where appropriate, escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, and secure classified information
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication
• Interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in:
  • First Aid
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance; possess one of the following:
  • U.S. Passport
  • Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
  • Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
  • Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
  • Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms), or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
  • Verifiable work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
