About the role

TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in Amsterdam, Carrollton, and Wellsville, Ohio. Officers will protect people, property, and assets through vigilant patrol, access control, and incident response while maintaining safety and order.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to buildings, ensuring only authorized entry.
• Patrol designated areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, service calls, and incidents as needed.
• Protect employees, visitors, and property through consistent observation and awareness.
• Write accurate daily activity and incident reports in a timely manner.
• Greet and assist employees, guests, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Answer phone calls and provide information or assistance as appropriate.
• Contact emergency services such as law enforcement or the fire department during critical situations.
• Escort personnel to and from facilities when required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ohio Security Guard License.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
• Stay alert and observant throughout each shift to ensure proactive awareness of surroundings.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Exercise sound judgment and remain calm in stressful or emergency situations.

Schedule

• Positions available in Amsterdam, Carrollton, and Wellsville, Ohio.
• Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This is a full-time position with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift availability.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
