Responsibilities
- Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
- Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
- Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age or older.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service, professionalism and communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
- An understanding of basic computer skills are a plus.
- Experience with report writing and documentation.
- Experience monitoring and surveillance.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Valid CPR.
- Valid 24-Hour Guard Card.
Skills
Key Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information.
- Control access for clients, visitors or vendors as required.
- Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
