POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Responds to a variety of calls/incidents
- Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches
- Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations, and suspicious activities
- Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate action
- Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence
- Perform access/visitor control duties
- Perform crowd control as required
- Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks
- First Aid and CPR/AED as required
- Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures
- Staff post as required and provide access control
- Properly vet all employees, trusted partners and daily visitors
- Control access to restricted areas as required
- Report violations
- Direct and provide information to visitors
- Safeguard all assets
- Provide assistance as required
- Escort persons and equipment as needed
- Conduct foot patrols as required
- Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance
- Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs
- Secure all exterior building doors and windows
- Be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as entrance/exit posts, roving posts, traffic posts, etc.
- Maintain uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies

Required Qualifications And Experience
- A high school diploma/GED
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen
- Obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
- Some college or associate degree preferred
- A valid driver's license
- Familiarity with various Security systems such as: CCTV, access control, vetting tool, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications
- Ability to pass a Background Investigation
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen
- Ability to pass a Physical Exam
- A driver license and clean driving record
- Fluency in speaking English; read and comprehend written English
- Excellent skill using Microsoft applications and/or Google Drive
- Capable of learning new computer programs and applications
- Successfully complete approximately 40-80 hrs. of company provided training
