Unarmed Security Guard - Pool Site

Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance of the assigned site or post and ensure post orders are followed as written and trained
- Follow established protocols, respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and other security personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Make immediate emergency notifications as necessary when confronted with credible information
- Maintain a command presence while appearing on post in accordance with uniform and PPE standards (as needed for individual assignment)
- Remain knowledgeable of security orders, directives, and procedures at all times
- Provide directions or guidance as necessary
- Verify resident identification before allowing entry
- Ensure each household complies with the maximum of four (4) guests per lot
- Monitor access to the pool and amenity area
- Provide a highly visible security presence to deter criminal activity, vandalism, property damage, trespassing, and unauthorized access
- Enforce community pool rules in a professional and respectful manner
- Document incidents and complete daily activity reports
- Contact supervisors or law enforcement when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Other related duties, as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- This role is based outdoors and subject to extreme temperatures
- Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations
- Previous security, customer service, HOA, or pool security experience (Preferred)
- Experience interacting with residents and enforcing community rules in a courteous and professional manner (Preferred)
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in English written or oral form as well as speak and comprehend English without translation
- Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance
- Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Security Guard License - AZDPS Security Guard Form Triage
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 10-hours, lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- Reliably commute to client sites located within 30-minutes of your home address

Schedule
We are looking for both Full-Time and/or Part-Time positions. This site guard will work from Wednesday – Sunday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Officers must be comfortable working in Arizona heat throughout their shift. Access to air conditioning, a shaded shelter, and restroom facilities will be available for breaks, but the majority of the shift will be spent outside monitoring the pool area.
Pay
This role pays $20.00 per hour.
