Unarmed Security Guard - Firewatch

Overview

IPS Nationwide is actively hiring professional and reliable Security Officers to support high-end retail locations and provide fire watch across LA COUNTY. We are seeking Unarmed guards who are comfortable in customer-facing environments and can maintain a strong security presence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure safety
• Monitor store activity and identify suspicious behavior
• Provide Customer Service while enforcing store policies
• Respond to Incidents, de-escalate situations and document reports
• Work closely with store management and IPS leads

Requirements

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)
• Valid Exposed Firearm Permit (Required for Armed Positions)
• Reliable Transportation
• Strong Communication and Professionalism
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods

Schedule & Availability

• Weekend availability is required
• Flex Shifts available (part-time, full-time and on-call)
• Must be open to varied schedules based on client needs

Compensation

• Competitive Hourly Pay (Based on experience and Licensing)
